Launch of the 15th Edition of the "Your data – Your concern" Programme

On September 2nd, the enrollment for the "Your data – Your concern" programme begins.

Mirosław Wróblewski, President of the Personal Data Protection Office, invites schools and educational institutions to participate in the nationwide educational program "Your data – Your concern." Enrollment for the 15th edition of the program will run from September 2nd to October 24th. Participation in the program also provides educational institutions with the opportunity to create support and self-education networks for teachers.

An important task of Personal Data Protection Office is to disseminate knowledge about personal data protection within society. The "Your data – Your concern" program achieves this goal among primary and secondary school students. We are very keen for young people to consciously exercise the rights guaranteed by GDPR. This is particularly important in the era of challenges to personal data protection associated with the development of new technologies, said Anna Dudkowska, Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Education.

In the 2024/2025 school year, participants can expect:

  • Educational materials and specialised training,
  • Online lectures where Personal Data Protection Office experts will discuss the most interesting topics in personal data protection and privacy from the perspective of school activities,
  • Training for teachers, enabling principals, teachers, and school staff to gain knowledge on how to properly process personal data, effectively prevent data protection breaches, and identify risks associated with their processing,
  • Webinars for students, helping them acquire skills that will facilitate their functioning in the school environment and in professional life.
